GEODIS to acquire trans-o-flex to develop its network in Germany

GEODIS has announced the acquisition of trans-o-flex, a 50-year-old logistics company, to develop its logistics network in Germany.

Founded in 1971, Trans-o-flex operates the largest temperature-controlled distribution network in Germany, specializing in healthcare, handling parcels and pallets. Based in Germany, Trans-o-flex has recently expanded its operations in Austria, which provides an opportunity for further growth. Trans-o-flex employs approximately 2,000 people across 77 hubs and local institutions, enabling the company to provide express logistics solutions throughout Germany.

Marie-Christine Lombard, CEO of Choda, commented: "The acquisition of trans-o-flex is a key step in expanding our presence in Germany.
