Inchcape Shipping Services, a global leader in port agency and marine services, announced the successful acquisition of Grieg Logistics AS from the Grieg Group.

This strategic move underscores Inchcape's dedication to providing top-quality operations and exceptional personnel in every port.

Under the new ownership, Grieg Logistics will continue to operate under its existing name for a transitional period, with the current management team led by CEO Stig Trygve Andersen remaining in place.

The acquisition reinforces Inchcape’s commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable service, enhancing its operational capabilities in shipping, raw materials, energy, and governmental services.

Together, Grieg Logistics and Inchcape will focus on creating even better solutions for customers, emphasizing digitalization and customer-centric services.

Grieg Logistics, a renowned brand with a proud heritage, operates terminals in Tønsberg, Mosjøen, and Skålevik, and has offices in Tønsberg, Larvik, Bergen, Mongstad, Kristiansund, and Mosjøen. It offers ship agency services along the Norwegian coastline, primarily with its own staff. The acquisition will strengthen Inchcape's presence in the Nordics.
