China's seaborne imports and exports grew 6.5% in the first quarter

According to the Ministry of Natural Resources, China's seaborne imports and exports rose 6.5% in the first quarter from a year earlier, 1.7 percentage points higher than the national growth rate in the same period. The export volume grew by 9.7% year on year, 1.3 percentage points higher than the total export volume of the country in the same period. The value of imports increased by 2.0% year on year, 1.8 percentage points higher than the national total import growth in the same period. The import and export volume of aquatic products increased by 10.8%, of which the export volume increased by 1.3% and the import volume increased by 22.6%.

Deutsche Post DHL's revenue fell 24.1% in the first quarter

Deutsche Post DHL has released its financial results for the first quarter of 2023, reporting revenues of €20.9 billion and operating profit (EBIT) of €1.6 billion, down 24.1% from the same period last year.
